FAQs
FAQs
1. What is a countertop refrigerated prep rail used for?
It keeps toppings, condiments, vegetables, meats, and sauces cold, visible, and ready for service. Ideal for sandwich shops, pizzerias, salad bars, delis, taco stations, cafés, and open kitchens.
2. What does the glass sneeze guard do?
It helps shield open food pans from direct contact while keeping ingredients clearly visible during preparation and service.
3. How many 1/4-size GN pans does it hold?
The 47-inch model holds 5 1/4-size GN pans, the 59-inch model holds 7, and the 71-inch model holds 8.
4. What temperature does the refrigerated condiment station maintain?
The electronic controller adjusts from 35°F to 50°F. For TCS foods, set the unit and verify food temperatures remain at 41°F or below.
5. Can it cool warm food or hold food overnight?
It is designed to hold pre-chilled ingredients during service, not cool warm food or replace approved overnight refrigeration.
People can see all the toppings without reaching over them. The whole counter looks more professional now.
It worked better than expected. The food stayed cold all afternoon and guests could serve themselves easily. Just make sure you have access to a proper power outlet.
Definitely takes up some room, but the glass makes it look much nicer than open food pans. Measure your counter first.
