FAQs
FAQs
Q1: What is this product and where is it used?
A: This is a commercial stainless steel work table / prep table for restaurants, bars, bakeries, food trucks, and home kitchens. It gives you a solid prep surface plus a lower shelf for storage.
Q2: What’s the benefit of the backsplash?
A: The built-in backsplash (about 5 cm / 2 inches) helps protect the wall from splashes and keeps items from sliding off the back. It’s a common choice for restaurant prep tables placed against a wall.
Q3: What material is the top made of?
A: The top is 201 stainless steel with 1.2 mm thickness, designed for daily commercial prep like chopping, mixing, and plating.
Q4: How much weight can it hold?
A: The top shelf supports up to 550 lbs, and the bottom shelf supports up to 450 lbs (evenly distributed). Good for small equipment, ingredient bins, and heavy prep.
Q5: Does it have a lower shelf? What is it made of?
A: Yes. It includes a galvanized steel undershelf (1 mm thick). The undershelf is designed to be 10 cm smaller in length and width than the top, which helps stability and workspace comfort.
Q6: Is the height adjustable?
A: Yes. It has adjustable feet (black PVC) with an adjustment range of 6 mm to 50 mm, helpful for uneven floors in commercial kitchens.
Q7: Is it NSF certified and does it require assembly?
A: Yes, it’s NSF certified and it requires assembly. Hardware/tools are included (M8*10 set screw + M4 hex key), so installation is straightforward for most users.
